I’m behind on my appreciation for our July 1st Children’s Parade and chicken dinner pick up. The chicken dinner pick up and processing worked flawlessly thanks to the following: Tana Arnett, Rosemary & Craig Critchley, Louisa & Ken Donahue, Heidi & Kelly Hennessy, and Bob Thomas. Thanks to the Troy Fire Department and EMT. Thanks also to our resident Troy Police officer, Brain O’Neal.

An additional thanks to these HOA members who provided goods and services:

  • Matt and Stacy Fullenkamp provided the desserts – a tasty selection from bake shops in New Bremen and other local favorites
  • The Kiddie Car Wash created by Ken & Louisa Donahue has been a hit for over 46 years. Thanks to Les & Sally Doud for letting us “borrow” their well to supply water to the Kiddie Car Wash.
  • The music system was organized and produced by Bob Cochran.
  • The newly added 8 tables were through a contact of Wade Dexter.
  • Another added feature this year, thanks to Luke Dexter, was the delivery of dinners to those unable to join us. Luke delivered 13 dinners riding his bike pulling a cart.

Thanks so much to all who purchased the pre-order roasted chicken dinners, I believe everyone in attendance had a nice time and enjoyed the fellowship of food, family and friends.

The next event is the Family Movie Night featuring “Sing 2” scheduled for July 22 at 2120 Seneca Dr. Arrive at 9:00pm. Everyone should have received the flyer and have added the date to your calendar. More will be out in the next day or so on this website.

Many thanks to everyone.
